Keto Crispy Chicken Thighs

After many failed attempts at achieving the perfect spice combination for my crispy chicken thighs, this is by far my family's favorite.
In the summer months these crispy thighs are delicious served alongside Keto Coleslaw or for dinners in the fall (or any time of year) try them with my Keto Cheesy Veggie Casserole.

For the crispiest chicken possible, be sure to clean and dry your thighs thoroughly before seasoning for the best results in your air fryer.
For a less crunchy version, cook on a flat parchment lined cooking sheet in a 375°F degree oven. Either way, your chicken thighs will come out juicy and delicious!
Ingredients:
2 lb bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
2 Tablespoons avocado or olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F or oven to 375°F

Place the chicken thighs into a Ziplock bag. Drizzle with avocado oil and shake until well coated.
Mix and add spices to bag, shake until thighs are evenly coated. Cook right away or leave in the refrigerator to cook later (up to 8 hours).
Place chicken thighs in the air fryer in a single layer, spaced at least ½ inch apart. Air fry chicken thighs for 25 to 30 minutes, turning at the half-way mark.
For the oven, place thighs on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove chicken from the air fryer and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
