You will need a blender, preferably with a glass bowl since MCT oil tends to break down certain types of plastics over time (especially light-weight and clear hardened plastics like those found in non-flexible bowls, cups, and disposable utensils.)


Full-On Fat Fighting Coffee is the most beneficial for the following reasons:

  • The quality of emulsification achieved by using a countertop blender is superior to a hand-blender, whisk, or shaker — giving your Fat Fighting Coffee a more latte look and texture.

Always start with the blender blade close to the top of the cup where most of the oil sits. This will create a vortex that pulls more air into the mixture. Then finish blending, moving the blade up and down to complete the process.


Pros and Cons to consider:

  • For many, Ghee is an acquired taste and if you are like most people you will likely prefer the taste of butter over Ghee initially. But keep in mind that homemade Ghee is much tastier than store-bought, especially when made with a high-quality grass-fed butter. Here is an easy crockpot recipe for Ghee if you would like to make some yourself.

  • Always use caution when mixing hot liquids. Never use a bullet-style blender as the heat from the coffee can cause this type of blender to burst.

  • If you are fasting and are concerned about breaking your fast, avoid adding butter as it does break a fast according to most fasting experts.

How to make keto coffee fast

Way #3 SUPER-FAST

The Super-Fast Fat Fighting Coffee method is perfect for those times when there is no time. This quick version can be whipped up at home in less than 2 minutes, or packed in your meal bag along with a shaker bottle, a travel-size container of MCT, a pink Himalayan salt grinder, and some portable liquid Stevia. My favorite cold brew for this recipe is Starbucks unsweetened cold brew in the bottle or Starbucks unsweetened Nitro in the can.
